Heleon Group acquires a majority stake in Spin Pompen
Middelharnis, March 20, 2024 – Heleon Group has acquired a majority interest in Spin Pompen from Assen. Spin Pompen continues to operate independently and further expands its market position within Heleon Group. For Heleon Group, the acquisition means a further strengthening of its market position as a supplier of stainless steel parts and high-quality process equipment for the pharmaceutical and food industries.
After previous acquisitions of, among others, the Belgian PMA and Gillain & Co and the Dutch Holstaal (now Heleon Food), the acquisition of Spin Pompen, according to CEO Jan Timmer, will lead to further growth of Heleon Group’s market position, product portfolio and expertise. “As a specialized supplier of hygienic process components including pipes, piping components, valves, hoses and pumps, Spin Pompen’s knowledge and range perfectly complements Heleon Group’s offering.” Spin Pompen, founded in 2003, supplies a wide range of high-quality hygienic positive displacement pumps to the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
