What they see is the current performance data of all their vacuum pumps. "Everything is running smoothly," says the Technical Manager of Emsland Frischgeflügel. Each pump's data is available in real-time on the tablets of all 60 company technicians. This means that they always know the system’s current condition and can intervene if something does not run properly. Just a few rooms down, the 36 MINK vacuum pumps from Busch Vacuum Solutions are purring away. Very reliably, they supply the site’s transport system with vacuum. This ensures that waste from meat production, as well as ready-to-eat products, can be transported from Point A to Point B safely, effectively and hygienically by pneumatic suction conveying. Challenge Injecting a product in thin and variable thicknesses. The specifications required a resin that could withstand high compressive loads and significant wear. The formwork had to be installed and finalised before its final dimensions were known. Proposal Chockfast® Orange was proposed to the client as it is the ideal product for this type of application. Finres designed an adaptive formwork system that allowed the product to be injected regardless of the final thickness of the grout. Implementation The adaptive formwork was installed on the support plate of the rotary system before being connected to the bridge deck. The customer was then able to place the bridge in its final position relative to the rotary system. FINRES then injected an impressive amount of orange Chockfast® between the bridge and its support carousel. All these specific tasks were carried out safely while working at a height of 4m. "In order to fill a 10 m² area between our mechanical parts and a 2,000-tonne steel structure, we were looking for a flexible partner who was ready to take on this challenge. The area to be covered was irregular in shape and varied in height. Finres managed to find an original solution that was executed very quickly and without any problems.
