Sealing system proven and perfected over decades. Superior performance with technically sophisticated components. LONG LASTING & ECONOMICAL Increased operational lifespan due to the ball-shaped construction of the sealing surfaces of the disc and liner. The rounded and polished disc minimises torque and allows the use of smaller, more economical actuators. Complex-shaped back-up rings lenghten the operational life of the valve. ADDITIONAL FEATURES Modified PTFE significantly improves durability when dealing with chlorine, hydrogen fluoride, high temperatures and other severe applications. Guaranteed compatibility with all established actuator systems through a range of shaft mounting options. UNIQUE Adaptable to different industries thanks to it‘s modular design. Individual serial numbers provide complete traceability of all pressurised and pressure-bearing parts. Continually developed in collaboration with our customers.

    3. Chockfast Orange - Rail grouting

      Chockfast Orange - Rail grouting

2.000 T cranes roll over these rails several times a day. Due to their activity of hauling heavy weights back and forth, an invisible swaying occurs. Historically, these rails are grouted with cement grout that has, although minimal, a certain shrink to it. Due to the swaying, the rail pumps up and down on the cement grout creating a small gap between the cement grout and baseplate. Water infiltration, freeze and thaw then result in crumbling of the cement grout. This in turn creates more infiltration, friction and crumbling. After a few years, at certain points, the rail can pump over 30 mm high with metal fatigue and rail braking as result. Removing the rail to renew the cement grout is not an option as the rails can only be put out of action for a very short period of time. As CHOCKFAST is fast curing and presents virtually no shrink. And as CHOCKFAST ORANGE has a compression resistance of 130 N / mm², it is the ideal product to be used by injection in order to fill the gaps under the baseplate and grout the rail firmly. To date, this solution has been used several times with great success and although the cranes still sway, the pumping effect is countered by the use of CHOCKFAST epoxy grout.

    4. Desponia butterfly valve : perfectly configured for food applications

Desponia butterfly valve : perfectly configured for food applications

To provide additional hygiene and safety to its customers, InterApp, partner of AVK Belgium, has developed a range of blue liners for the food industry. The liners are NBR and EPDM based. They comply with the FDA and the EC 1935/2004 regulations, and can be used with the Desponia and Desponia plus range. The rubber-lined butterfly valve Desponia of InterApp can be configured specifically for the food industry thanks to its large variety of materials and the right combination. Combined with the mirror polished stainless steel discs, that are preferred due to its non-stick non-adhesive properties, they are the perfect choice for this kind of applications. Blue color is becoming the preferred color for applications in food processing industries, due to better visibility of potential contaminant parts. In case of an unlikely damage of the liner, the rubber residues are more visible the process line, allowing for fast an early detection of contaminants.

    6. From residual waste to returns: Kapp supplies vent condenser for waste-to-energy company

From residual waste to returns: Kapp supplies vent condenser for waste-to-energy company

The energy transition calls for smart solutions, where making optimal use of raw materials and energy sources is key to building an efficient and sustainable future. Kapp is supplying a vent condenser (also known as a partial condenser) for a new waste-to-energy project for a waste processing company in the Czech Republic. This installation converts residual waste into usable energy while significantly reducing CO₂ emissions. We’re happy to explain how!

    7. Gaskets for tankstorage

      Gaskets for tankstorage

Please visit our website www.klinger.be https://www.klinger.be/nl_be/over-klinger/actueel/104/dichtingen-voor-tankopslag We are familiar with the challenges in tank storage, such as availability of storage capacity, time pressure, various media, fire and explosion hazards and large volumes of often hazardous substances. Avoiding any incident that could endanger people and the environment should be a top priority. Controlling the risks is a necessity and technical measures are available for this. You can rely on the knowledge and products of KLINGER. Manholes are available on a tank in various sizes and designs and often consist of weak flange connections. Often with thin flanges, few bolts and large/wide sealing surfaces. Sealing rings must also be multi-functional, since the media in the tanks can differ (pH varies from 0-14). And that is exactly the challenge for every manager of tankfarms!

    8. Grouting of a compressor with Chockfast® epoxy grout

Grouting of a compressor with Chockfast® epoxy grout

Challenge TGE was looking for a flexible and experienced partner to grout three Burchkart compressors as part of the large liquefied gas silo project at the Antwerp gas terminal, now known as Advario. The challenge was to ensure safe grouting procedures while working outdoors in winter conditions without direct access to the injection area. Proposal Grouting of the pockets and skids was proposed using Chockfast Red, and filling of the skids was proposed using BASF 145 PG. Implementation While complying with API standards for casting, Finres found innovative solutions to ensure the correct resin application temperatures. This made it possible to meet a tight casting schedule in difficult weather conditions. "In order to grout three compressor skids, weighing approximately 34,000 kg each, with epoxy grout and also fill the frame with cement grout, we were looking for a flexible partner who was ready to take on this challenge, which included lifting the three compressors to allow the concrete surface to be prepared. Finres managed to complete the work on time, quickly and smoothly. As great attention was paid to determining the correct approach and preparing the work, we are extremely satisfied with the cooperation with Finres and the final result for this complex mission."
