As an Automation Engineer at VB-Parts, you act as the main point of contact for customers and colleagues in electromechanics, hydraulics, and automation. You develop technical solutions, guide customers during product start-up, and proactively contribute to improvements. As a commercial technical employee, you act as the customer contact, support the field sales team, and advise on products, quotes, and technical questions. As a SALES ENGINEER, you are responsible for prospecting new customers and expanding the existing customer portfolio and strive for a long-term relationship. You are able to quickly map out the customer’s needs and link them to the right solution.
YOUR PROFILE
● You obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences and Technology Electromechanics or a Bachelor’s degree in Electricity or (Electro)mechanics or you have built up equivalent knowledge through experience in the sale of industrial products
● You are customer-oriented and turn a problem into an opportunity, for you and for the customer. You demonstrate entrepreneurship, you have a sense of initiative and you respond proactively.
● You work independently, but you also have a good team spirit.
● You are Dutch-speaking. Knowledge of English is a must and French is a plus.
● You can consider IT tools well.
