Submersible Pneumatic Actuators
Description Actuators in the Spacx submersible series are pneumatic, spring return, fail-close actuators for quarter turn valves. Fully suitable for permanent submersible duty in (sea) water up to a depth of 20 meters. Position feedback is pneumatic, so no electrical connections are required.

Extruded aluminum ASTM6005 body with internal and external corrosion protection. Honed cylinder surfaces, multiple bearings and guides for low friction and longer lifetime expectancy. Dual rack and pinion design for compact and symmetric construction. Shaft design to prevent blow-out. Modular design for simple fi eld reversing of the fail action. Pre-charged spring cartridges for safe removal. Fully machined rack and pinion for accurate teeth engagement to minimize backlash. Stainless steel fasteners for long term corrosion resistance. Full in compliance with international standards ISO5211 and DIN3337 for valve interface and NAMUR to ensure easy assembly of solenoids and limitswitch enclosures.
