Seal-welding Technology
Seal Welding Technology – Field Replaceable Seals Without Disassembly M.C.M. Sealing has developed an innovative seal welding technology that enables seals to be replaced directly in the field, eliminating the need for complete equipment disassembly. This breakthrough significantly reduces maintenance time, lowers operational costs, and minimizes system downtime. The process allows both O-rings and PTFE seals to be replaced on-site, providing a practical and efficient solution for maintenance in demanding industrial environments. A unique advantage of the technology is that it enables M.C.M. Sealing to produce seals in virtually unlimited diameters, offering new flexibility for large-scale or custom sealing applications. At the core of the innovation lies a highly controlled welding process that creates a joint strong enough to maintain the full functionality of the seal. The weld integrity is designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures without compromising performance. This is where the process clearly differentiates itself from other solutions, which can introduce potential reliability risks. Because sealing systems are critical components, reliability and quality are paramount. The seal welding technology is engineered to ensure consistent weld strength and long-term sealing performance, even in the most demanding operating conditions. By combining field serviceability, cost efficiency, and uncompromising reliability, the seal welding technology represents a significant step forward in sealing solutions for modern industrial systems.

KEFLOY® FOOD GRADE MATERIALS
Discover our KEFLOY® compounds, approved for food applications. mcm-ol seals continues to expand its range of Kefloy® compounds in compliance with a range of standards: WRAS, BAM, USP Class VI and 3-A® Sanitary Standards Contact us for more information and discover how we are sealing your industry!
New polyurethane materials, Kefloy® 86 and Kefloy® 87
mcm-ol seals introduces new polyurethane materials, Kefloy® 86 and Kefloy® 87, which conform to the latest EU REACH environmental standards coming into force November 2017. Kefloy® 86 and Kefloy® 87 will supersede the renowned Kefloy® 85, Kefloy® 116 and Kefloy® 124 as the materials of choice for polyurethane seals used in demanding linear and rotary applications also in tough environments. The materials maximum operating temperature are improved in water and water-based fluids. In addition, the new materials also boast the characteristics of toughness, rigidity, wear and scratch resistance and demonstrate similar performance characteristics of the materials they replace. EVOLAST® FFKM COMPOUND
Perfluorinated rubber – FFKM EVOLAST® FFKM materials are elastomers with the highest chemical and heat resistance. Some FFKM types can be exposed to temperatures a little above 300°C. The resistance to chemicals is nearly universal and compares to that of PTFE. The advantage of FFKM is the combination of the chemical and thermal stability of PTFE with the elastic properties of an elastomer material. These special-purpose elastomers are used wherever safety requirements and high maintenance input justify the high price of these materials and where standard elastomers cannot be used.
