Single-Use Assemblies – customized solutions for biopharmaceutical and biotech processes
Single-use assemblies are customer-specific, ready-to-use systems in which multiple plastic components are integrated into one complete solution. They are used in critical processes within biopharma, biotech and life sciences, where sterility, hygiene and product safety are essential. Assemblies are applied in upstream, downstream and fill & finish processes, including fermentation, filtration, chromatography, sampling and final fill. They are also widely used in hospital pharmacies for patient-specific preparations. Delivered as sterile and validated systems, they reduce time spent on installation, cleaning and validation while minimizing the risk of cross-contamination, leakage and product loss. Each assembly is supplied with full documentation and batch traceability to ensure quality and compliance. Cleanroom assembly, including leak and integrity testing, ensures immediate and reliable plug-and-play use in critical production environments.

Quattroflow sanitary pumps for biopharmaceutical applications
Safe and efficient transfer of valuable proteins, biologicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients requires maximum process reliability. For these demanding applications, Hitma supplies Quattroflow sanitary diaphragm pumps. Quattroflow specializes in four-piston diaphragm pumps with extremely low pulsation, specifically developed for pharmaceutical and biotech processes. They ensure gentle handling of aqueous solutions, blood products and vaccines, resulting in high product safety and reliability. Single-use technology enables fast batch changes. A new pump chamber can be installed within minutes, reducing cleaning procedures and downtime. The pumps allow safe dry running and contain no rotating parts that could affect the product through friction or heat. Key benefits • Extremely low pulsation • Minimal shear and product damage • Suitable for sensitive filtration processes • Available in single-use and multi-use versions • Developed in close cooperation with the biopharmaceutical industry The heart-inspired four-piston design delivers a smooth, low-pulsation flow, ideal for flowmeters, filters and other flow-sensitive equipment. Quattroflow pumps are widely used in chromatography, cross-flow filtration and other critical biotech processes.

Quattroflow QF30SU – Single-use diaphragm pump for ultra-low flow rates
The Quattroflow QF30SU extends the single-use range with an extremely low flow range of 0.06 – 30 l/h. It is designed for applications requiring very small capacities, such as process development and personalized medicine, as well as higher pressure applications including TFF and chromatography. Thanks to its redesigned diaphragm, air removal and self-priming are optimized, resulting in very low pulsation and stable flow performance. The QF30SU is also suitable for long-term and continuous processes. Key features • Single-use pump chamber, quick replacement without tools • Flow range 0.06 – 30 l/h, max. 4 bar • 500:1 turndown ratio • Linear flow performance • Hose barb connections 4 mm (1/8” or 3.2 mm) • Analog input 0–5 VDC • Easy integration on a QF150 pump • Accessories available (control box, diaphragm sensor, PID pressure controller) Typical applications Chromatography, TFF and virus filtration. The QF30SU delivers precise low-flow control with high process stability for critical pharmaceutical and biotech applications.

Quattroflow EZ-Set – Fast replacement of single-use pump heads
With the Quattroflow EZ-Set, single-use pump heads can be replaced faster and more easily, without tools. The system is available for QF150 and QF1200 single-use pumps. Thanks to the embossed design on the pump head, it can be manually exchanged within 30 seconds, even while wearing gloves. Ideal for cleanroom environments where speed and safety are critical. Key benefits • Quick and easy replacement of single-use pump chambers • No screws or special tools required • Clear marking for correct installation • Manual change in approx. 30 seconds • Suitable for cleanroom applications Available for QF150SU, QF1200SU, QF1200SU-CV and QF1200SU-HT. New pumps can be delivered with EZ-Set by adding “EZ” to the pump code. Existing pumps can be retrofitted by replacing the pump chamber, pressure plate and shaft.

Quattroflow Q-Control – Integrated pump controller for maximum process control
Quattroflow Q-Control – Integrated pump controller for maximum process control Q-Control is an integrated pump controller for Quattroflow diaphragm pumps. By connecting to various flow and pressure sensors, it enables automated and precise control of pump operations. Thanks to its built-in intelligent control features, an external PLC is often no longer required. Key features • Communication with various flow and pressure sensors • Advanced control strategies without external PLC • PID control for pressure or flow driven processes • Autotune function for optimal PID settings • Configurable alarms with automatic pump stop • Fill function for accurate dosing of defined volumes • RS485 Modbus communication • Trend data and alarm logging • Remote operation capability Available for QF30, QF150, QF1200, QF2500 and QF4400 models.
