About us
The GEMÜ Group develops and manufactures valves, measurement and control systems for liquids, vapours and gases. GEMÜ is a global market leader when it comes to solutions for sterile applications.
The globally focused, independent family-owned enterprise was founded in 1964. In 2011, Gert Müller took over as Managing Partner together with his cousin Stephan Müller, becoming the second generation to run the company.
The Group achieved a turnover of over €530 million in 2022 and currently employs over 2500 members of staff worldwide, over 1400 of whom are in Germany. They have six manufacturing locations: Germany, Switzerland and France, as well as China, Brazil and the USA. Their worldwide marketing is carried out across 27 subsidiaries, coordinated from Germany. Thanks to a large network of commercial partners, GEMÜ is now active in over 50 countries on all continents.

DIAPHRAGM VALVES Metal
Depending on the version, GEMÜ diaphragm valves are particularly suitable for use with both inert and corrosive media. They can be used to control and/or regulate heavily contaminated liquid and gaseous media or media containing tiny particles.
BUTTERFLY VALVES
Manual, Pneumatic and Motorized GEMÜ butterfly valves are primarily used in industrial applications and the chemical industry, as well as the fields of water supply and water/waste water treatment
GLOBE VALVES
Globe valves are ideal for fast cycle duties, higher temperatures and control applications. Although they are often used for steam control and in the field of water/waste water treatment, they can handle the most diverse of applications in industrial processes, yet also in sterile and hygienic applications in the pharmaceutical, food and biotechnology industries.
ELECTRICAL POSITION INDICATORS
Compatibel with all actuators. Suitable for linear and quarter turn actuators.
ELECTRO-PNEUMATIC POSITIONERS AND PROCESS CONTROLLERS
GEMÜ's product range for process automation of valves includes three-point controllers to control the position of motorized valves and electro-pneumatic positioners for pneumatic valves with quarter turn or linear actuators.

MULTI-PORTS VALVE BLOCKS
Combining functions in the smallest of spaces in one block offers even more advantages: The residual volume of media in the system is reduced in a measurable way, the flow is optimized and draining is improved.
BALL VALVES
Ball valves are versatile and can also be used in extreme circumstances. This valve type is particularly well-suited to safely shutting off liquid and gaseous media at a very high operating pressure. As media travels between the ball and the body when opening and closing, ball valves are suitable for mechanically pure, inert or corrosive liquids, gases or steam.
