About us
We are TAS, a technical trading office specialising in process and drive engineering since 1938. What started with the production of oil burners and supplying installations and equipment to the shipping industry, has grown under the stewardship of our General Manager Bart Nuyts into a dynamic sales organisation for installations and components for process technology, transmission systems and motion control in almost all industries in the Benelux region.

Shell & tube heat exchangers
You can contact us for both standard versions and custom solutions. We not only supply the heat exchanger itself, but also the documentation you need to meet the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the ASME standards organisation.

ejector
Körting Ejectors can be utilised in numerous application fields. Each ejector is designed thereby individually for its application field and adjusted optimally to its respective utilisation. A jet ejector requires no mechanical drive and has no moving parts. This basic principle applies to every jet ejector in different models and ranges of application. Maintenance is kept to a minimum, they are robust, reliable, relatively insensitive to dirt, always ready for use, and self-priming and therefore especially suitable for all operating conditions. Further advantages of ejectors are their simple installation, low investment costs and the use of materials which are resistant to corrosion and erosion.

level gauges
Level gauges give your operators reliable information about the right level. Whether mechanically or electronically, directly or indirectly, or transparent or bicolour, with or without background illumination, the Igema sight glasses provide you with the correct separation of steam and water or other media. Igema products are manufactured in accordance with Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and designed to the current standard for operating steam boiler units (TRD, AD 2000, ASME Boilers etc.). PN40 till PN320.

level alarms
The regulations on the opeation of steam boiler units require the use of level limiters on steam boilers. IGEMA offers both mechanical and electronic controllers / limiters up to pressures of PS = 200 bar. Also self-controlling devices for steam boilers without constant supervision are in the program. The quality of the boiler water can then be monitored and controlled by conductivity measurements in combination with valves for interval-off and blowdown valves with electrical actuators.

Liquid ring pumps
Liquid ring pumps in one- or two-stage excecution for the suction of gases and vapors. With partial or complete recycling of the liquid ring vacuum of 1,013 mbar to 33 mbar.

stirrers
Our mixers are stainless steel 1.4571 standard version with a maximum shaft length of 6000mm and conforming to ATEX and FDA. When needed, we can use other materials with or without coatings. For each application, we select the appropriate form of the organ of agitation. We can also send you stand or suitable means of fastening.

dispersers
Dispersants are used for two media to be difficult to mix with each other. A dispersion is a mixture of substances from two or more phases exists, of which one substance (the so-called dispersion phase)as finely as possible is divided into the continuous phase (dispersed), and is kept suspended for as long as possible. This is done in a “rotor – stator” device where high sheering forces are responsible for the fine dispersing of the components. The more strenuous the dispersing operation, the more stable the finished product and the more efficient the use of additives such ascolorings and flavorings, emulsifiers, stabilizers etc. Dispersants can be incorporated in both tanks as well as in-line. In-line applications can be up to 3 rotor–stator stages after each other.

Cooling towers
A cooling tower is a heat rejection device that rejects waste heat to the atmosphere through the cooling of a water stream to a lower temperature. Cooling towers may either use the evaporation of water to remove process heat and cool the working fluid to near the wet-bulb air temperature or, in the case of closed circuit dry cooling towers, rely solely on air to cool the working fluid to near the dry-bulb air temperature.

Plate heat exchangers
With a plate heat exchanger, you recover heat from one fluid (eg water), separating it and transferring it to another fluid (eg gas). In addition to a large number of conventional types with gaskets, TAS can also supply brazed and safety plate heat exchangers. The heat exchange surfaces of the units vary from 0.01m² to 2000m², with a capacity of 1kW to 30MW and different connections from DN15 to DN500.
