A leading international manufacturer of metal powders in Wallonia stores its metal powders in silos. Their current butterfly valves did not properly seal the exit of these silos, causing small amounts of this powder to be lost each time.
Solution
Fluxer recommended butterfly valves with a drop lock system, especially for use under silos or containers.
Their centrally located valve disc with special shaft connection ensures absolute sealing in both directions of flow. The seals of these butterfly valves have a lateral overlap and an additional sealing edge and this gives a perfect seal between the flanges without additional flange seals.
